Xcel Energy Air Quality Station

ADVM2 environmental consultants designed, constructed, and calibrated a mobile ambient air quality monitoring station for deployment in West Texas.  The monitoring equipment used for this project included wind speed, wind direction, temperature, relative humidity, delta temperature, solar radiation, barometric pressure, digital imagery, PM₁₀ and PM_2.5 (MetOne BAMs), sulfur dioxide (TAPI 100E), NOx (TAPI 200E), carbon monoxide (TAPI 300E) calibrator (TAPI 700), and ozone (TAPI 400E).  The station could be deployed, calibrated, and running within 8 hours of being located at a new site. All of the data was transferred into the ADVM2 database via cellular telemetry and available via secure web interface.  The station was operated in the vicinity of Lubbock Texas for over a year and achieved a greater than 92% recovery rate for all parameters.  ADVM2 provided summary quarterly and annual reports in accordance with EPA and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality guidelines.
